Maltese Paysafecard to USDT: Quick Guide
Picked up a voucher in Valletta, Sliema or on Gozo and now you'd rather hold crypto? A Maltese Paysafecard to USDT conversion takes a single message. Malta is one of the 24 supported regions, its region code is MT, and the euro amount goes in exactly as printed on the card. Get those two details right and most conversions are done within a few minutes.
Maltese card ready? Open @PSC_exchange_bot on Telegram, press Start, choose "Redeem a code," and send it as code amount region.
How to convert a Maltese Paysafecard to USDT
There's no account to create and no form to fill in. Every region uses the same five steps:
- Open the bot on Telegram and press Start.
- Choose "Redeem a code."
- Send the voucher as
code amount region. A 50 euro card is<your 16-digit code> 50 MT. - The service processes it automatically. Most conversions finish within a few minutes.
- Your balance is credited in USDT. Withdraw it to your own USDT or USDC wallet, on the network you choose.
You only need the 16-digit code and a Telegram account. No sign-up, nothing to activate by hand.
MT, not ML, MA or MLT
Malta's code looks obvious, but a few near-misses come up again and again:
MLandMAaren't Malta. They're easy guesses if you're typing fast, but neither is the code for Malta and neither is a supported region.MLTis three letters. The region slot takes exactly two:MT. Don't writeMALTAorEURthere either.- Gozo and Comino are still
MT. A card bought on Gozo is a Maltese card. There's no separate code for the smaller islands.
Send the wrong code and the voucher may not go through. That's fixable. If a payment doesn't go through, you get a short video showing the code was checked and not charged, so your voucher is still intact. Correct the region and send it again.
Bought it on holiday? The code doesn't change
Malta sees a lot of visitors, students and people working there for a season, so plenty of Maltese vouchers end up being redeemed somewhere else.
- The region is the country the card was issued for, not where you are now. A card bought in St Julian's is
MTwhether you redeem it from Malta, Cairo or Shanghai. - Euro doesn't mean any euro code will do. Malta, Cyprus and Germany all use the euro, but each has its own code:
MT,CYandDE. - Mixed up your island souvenirs? If a card actually came from Cyprus, use
CYand see the Cypriot Paysafecard guide.
Not sure where a card is from? Check the receipt, or look through the supported regions and currencies list, which has every code in one place.
How to write the euro amount
Type the face value exactly as printed: 10, 25, 50, 100.
- Digits only. Don't add
€,EURoreuroafter the number. - Don't round it and don't convert it to dollars. You're just telling the bot what the card says, and it handles the region's currency for you.
- Keep the order: code, then amount, then region, with a space between each.
A 25 euro card reads <code> 25 MT. A 100 euro card reads <code> 100 MT.
Sending several Maltese cards at once
Bought a few vouchers over a trip? You don't have to send them one at a time. You can send several at once, one per line, each with its own region code:
`` <code> 50 MT <code> 25 MT <code> 10 CY ``
They all land in the same USDT balance, so you only withdraw once at the end. The guide to converting multiple Paysafecard codes covers the batch format in more detail.
Where your USDT goes next
Once your balance shows USDT, the next move is yours. Enter a wallet address, pick the network, and withdraw in USDT or USDC. Most people choose one of these:
- Your own self-custody wallet. The most direct way to hold what you've converted. How to withdraw USDT to your wallet explains how to pick a network.
- An exchange account such as Binance or Gate.io. The exchange is simply where you deposit USDT you already hold: convert the Paysafecard first, then send the USDT to your exchange deposit address.
Either way, you keep most of your voucher's value. The fee is small and transparent.
